This one has the rough velcro piece in a place that prevents this from happening. Of course it's not foolproof but a much improved design compared to the last one.
This one is slim but durable and fits perfect in our backpack. Compact & portable - easily fits in a travel/diaper bag. Easily storable in my diaper backpack.

It’s inside the strap that latches so that when you lay it down flat that scratchy velcro lies between the strap and changer pad

Most places have the pull down changing table but it is so hard and most likely full of germs
