Pros
Heavy plastic is durable and well sewn to the material edges. It's not only soft around his neck but easy to snap on and off. It covers his head and keeps his paws away from his ears so he won't scratch it.
This one eases all those concerns. Good news is that it does seem to be reversible. Very pleased with this.

Soft part can easily be displaced, inverting the soft part and shortening the cone. This allows pets to get to incisions easily making the cone useless.
