Pros

The vest is highly adjustable to the size of your dog. It velcros around the abdomen and across the chest. Plastic parachute clips keep it in place more securely. Fits well and seems very securely fastened.

This is especially true if your pup isn't a good swimmer or is hesitant about being in water. My dog chacho isn't much of a swimmer but he's more likely to swim wearing this life jacket than without one.

This flotation device actually works. It is definitely buoyant and keeps my frenchie afloat. The extra flap helps elevate jer head when she's in the pool.

Cons

The dog float is not boyant enough and should be able to safely float the animal without assistance. The pillow under the dog’s chin is very small even on the xl that i purchased. I’m not sure if the vest is poorly made or if the size guide is wrong.
