It cleans itself. Cleans up easier than my old one, too. The rubber lid is very thick and locks into place well. In fact, i'm sure that's not to dissimilar to what is inside.
This machine is a real workhorse. The best example i can give of its capabilities is when i make gazpacho. If you watch reviews on youtube, they test most of the blunders.
This blender is like a racing engine and will chop up real quick so you have to use the pulsar. The blender is a breeze to clean.
Cons
Sometimes it works and spins and chops, other times it gets stuck and whines and i have to stop and start over. Sounds like it’s dying and bogged down, spins out like.
There are millions of real-world recipes where the blender could shine. Seriously lacks blending power. If it can't make a simple smoothie, what is it good for?
The pitcher is cheap plastic, not the smoother/sturdier acrylic feeling pitcher of my ninja and the tamper is cheap hollow textured plastic. The lid is also flimsy with rubberized plastic tabs that will likely get stressed and break over time as they ... Read More
Photo #1 shows that the plastic plate on the base extends further than the feet, so no support. The cord was damaged. It actually looks like a screw was placed incorrectly.
