There are cheaper uk 3 pin to 2 pin converters out there but do not offer adequate support to something that has the weight of a plug head type power supply those supplies sometimes affectionately called a wallwart

A fuse is fitted and whereas i am not going to cut it apart to determine if it is sandfilled to meet the energybreaking standards at least it is in circuit and could easily be replaced with a fuse from a respected manufacturer whereas some equipment has either a fake fuse or a genuine fuse that is only cosmetic and not actually connected into the circuit

It also has the ability of covering the mains voltage pins even though the pins are of course made to our uk standard in that the upper portion of these pins are indeed sleeved as part of their manufacturing

In this case plug was also had circuitry in it could not replace with uk 13 amp plug
