I bought these for a specific purpose i wanted to see the display from my camera on a big screen without needing to carry a big screen

Otherwise this is the ideal headset for this purpose and ive tried several including the psvr the oculus quest 2 building my own with google cardboard and a bare display etc basically a headmounted viewfinder

Since it also does sbs sidebyside im actually going to test it with two cheaper usb cameras as basically an actual pair of digital binoculars

The lenses seem to be real lenses btw or at least if theyre fresnel lenses i dont see any lines on the lenses themselves
