Pros
Deploying is a bit tricky but i feel it is mainly due to the centered location due to a round pool and having two ends to contend with. The only issue is with the set screw to keep the cover from unrolling.

One was delivered before other. Emt conduit and some nuts and bolts. Seller kept me informed with tacking numbers for the boxes.

This product is flimsy and cheap. It is not sturdy enough. It sags in the middle.

Easy to assemble turns well and pulls the cover out of the water
This stand is sturdy and the crankhandle is smooth in turning
The strapes are not sticking correctly i cleaned the reel and then put the taped straps on but they are not sticking very good
I used a 2x4 and a deadblow hammer and only one failed to fasten

Great price and makes placing and removing a solar cover a breeze
If youve been on the fence about getting a reel the first time you use it youll feel it paid for itself
For the money this is the way to go
It may be a little pricey but everything is right now

I have an irregular pool shape and ended up rolling up the short end of the blanket so i could stand under the roller bar and was very careful to follow the bubble lines to ensure a straight line of clips under the bar

Ill probably go with the sandbag option per the instructions as in gusty conditions this is so light when the blanket is unreeled im worried it might get blown around
