I ended up using a qtip and amyl acetate to soften up just a few places


Make sure you remove all of the left over adhesive and use a qtip and rubbing alcohol to clean the edges

    The largest problem and its not related to this rear cover was removing every last bits of the original adhesive

    I used hot air and the chisel edge of a plastic spudger for most of the adhesive
