Clear case is a nice touch for any nerd. Pi4 runs a bit hotter than the pi3. Fan is noisy, but what do you expect for something so tiny and inexpensive?
The kits are available without any markup. This removes the guesswork from piecing together what you need to start. It also has robotics interface built in, so if you or your kid geeks out over * robots this computer does it.

Cons
Fan is extremely loud immediately after power on. Case is cheaply made, taking it apart is a hassle and it does not firmly close. Just a black screen in both cases.

Easy to set up and run on wifii made a 64gig card with octopi and hooked to my wifi for 3d printer control
I got the 2 gb ram version and it has worked perfectly for an octoprint setup

This is just for a couple of seconds and then if smooths out and quiets down

Until you turn on the system and set it up first then power it down and hook up the fan or it won’t boot up for you
