I purchased this unit for the purposes of upscaling classic video game consoles so i will focus mainly on that

Proscheap compared to other upscalersoffers both 720p and 1080p modes in both 5060hzaccepts svideo inputlow latency input lag has not been an issueconsintroduces motion blurinterlacing comb artifacts on some quick moving objectsno 43 modei purchased this unit because my hdtv like most modern hdtvs does not have any svideo input and handled 240p scaling over composite input poorly

The result being that my super nintendo games looked pretty terrible

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I wanted to be able to output over svideo to clean up the signal and i hoped this unit would handle the very low resolution better than the tvs scaling unit would

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

First it outputs only at 169 so any 43 signal all classic game consoles will be stretched

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Some hdtvs may have aspect settings that correct for this but mine does not

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

On the snes this results in sharp defined pixels on all stationary parts of the screen and softer lightly blurred edges on anything moving

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

When the full screen is moving finer details can be lost and it looks somewhat reminiscent of the filters available in emulators
