When you hit the vox button it makes the screen go black and it’s silent until your child moved or coughs or anything and then the light turns in with the volume

I ended up returning it because i was gifted a different one that i liked better some of the features fit my needs better but i wouldve kept it otherwise

The camera is placed about 4 feet up higher than the mattress of the crib and we can see every corner of the crib
