Easy to set up, all it really has to do is screw down the transport screw before you use the record part. Added a diamond tipped needle (you can get them here on amazon) and a slipmat for the records. Don't know about the cassette player since i haven... Read More

Cons

Just a faulty item. Discovered turntable defective before its even out of the box. This is just a psa incase anyone else has this issue.

Amp; won’t play the cd. The cd light keeps flashing. It takes forever to stop spinning and just flashes cd over and over.

The record player is even worse. There is a persistent problem with the record player which is almost as bad. This renders the record playing portion inoperable.

The tabletop surface is highly unstable, and, since the tone arm is very heavy, the record wobbles and slows down periodically during play. Both issues are apparently related to a wobbly turntable.
