Pros

From pulling a splinter out of your finger to tightening down a loose screw, this makes for a great everyday carry. The tourist is 4/5 size version of the spartan, identical except for size.

Sharp, crafted good. Can't ask for much more in a swiss army knife. Quality is always great with authentic swiss army knives.

Small blade, large blade, and flathead screwdriver. Opted a serrated blade over scissors on the swiss tool. I use the corkscrew daily to untie knots in kids shoes.

Cons

Horrible experience for a 70 yr old trying to pull out each piece. They are too small to use and i can't use it conveniently. The hype is just in the name.

Quality

The quality has been consistently top notch

He uses it every day very durable

This is the non plus ultra of knives

Lost all 3 of them over the last 10 years

Price

They were very reasonably priced and they pull love to gift this to someone else

Not cheap but you get what you pay for

If i divide the price by the number of times it has been useful i get about an average of 1 cent per moment of usefulness

Packaging/appearance

I had the exact same one when i was a kid and he loves being able to open packages with it now

I bought it as a christmas stocking stuffer for my son and he loves all the little attachments with it

Arrived in a sealed box but upon opening the it was scratched on both sides

The first swiss army knife that was mailed to me had scratches and the box was open and bent

Competitiveness

I have also owned several models from each brand

I generally find victorinox to be the better brand

I bought a bunch of saks but i probably should have just stopped with the climber and rambler
