Pros

Love this filet knife. I'd suggest buying the leather sheath with this knife, it fits like a glove!

Stamped stainless is very sharp and sturdy. Flexible for navigating around bones, tendons, etc. Holds an edge and when needed, it sharpens to a brand new edge.

This is for filleting my fish and it cuts like butta. Blade is rather long, which is fine for large saltwater fish. Fantastic knife for trimming large cuts of meat like brisket or tri-tip.

Cons

I have 2 other cheapo fillet knives (rapala and berkeley) that each we're well under 20 bucks that hold an edge much better than this victorinox. Save your money and pass on this one folks.

Only have used it once but am very satisfied with the product

I was very impressed with the ability to feel the knife riding along the backbone

Never kept a good edge and just didnt seem the quality build was inferior

The two plunge cuts described above were more difficult than what im accustomed to with the point you see on most traditional filet knives

Price

Knife is balanced steel easy to sharpen and handle is excellent price correctly set

Itd be nice to have a soft rubberized grip but at this cost i cant complain

Packaging/appearance

The knife was super sharp right out of the packaging and i was able to make great fillets from walleye and rainbow trout

Love this fillet knife perfect addition to my other fibrox knives

These are the best knives on the market
