Pros

Used chunky peanut butter and made sure some nuts were lodged in the trap pedal barrel. They work way better with the little metal bait holder than the ones with the plastic cheese looking bait holder.

Have tried other fancier traps in the past. It’s also the cheapest option. Easy to set as opposed to the m038 and it almost never misses.

Can't beat the time tested spring and wire metal mouse trap design.

Cons

The victor snap traps are unfortunately worthless. The wooden base looks to be constructed of the cheapest material they could find. It is not worth my time to return this junk to amazon for a refund.
