Once you have the batteries in and you have the mouthpiece inserted to activate the device you simply press the power button on the front

When pressed there is a warmup countdown from 15 to 1 and then it prompts you with a beep and a message on the screen to blow

If the reading is too high it will sound a beeping alarm and flash a danger symbol

There is an alarm reset button on the back but it is one you need a sharp point to insert like a thin pen point or a needle but by the time i have found something appropriate it would be easier just to switch it off

The user guide is very well translated so is easy to understand and read even if there are a few errors operating the breathalyzer is very straight forward as there is only 1 button which turns it on the device then counts down from 15 as it warms up once done you simply blow through the mouth piece for 10 seconds and the device will then give you a reading in a variety of units which you switch between by pressing the button

After 20 seconds the device will then shut down to save battery life
