The only real drawback is that the pump is a tad noisy i believe because of loose tolerances in the motor itself

This is a great pump especially for the price but if youre looking for totally silent operation spend a bit more money on a higher quality one

I was looking for a similar product but i wanted to try this one which doesnt openly advertise as a compatible replacement for the pet fountain
