Pros & Cons
Pros
Rubber grips give me extra control. Finally the coating is back to the old style and not that awful rubber grip that gives you a rug burns on your hand.
These are the best vf sticks i have used to date. Perfect for electronic kit or for medium to lighter players on an acoustic kit. These are simply the best sticks you can buy without getting some ridiculously over-priced custom-made dealio.
Bought these for my grandson. Just bought my second set (wore out the first). They are worth the purchase.
These get tackier as your hands get sweaty. Had trouble with my sticks slipping while playing and the tackiness of the vg helps so much. Have a few chips from the wood near the tip, but sanded those down so they don't cut my edrums/cymbals.
Plastic tips give you extra bounce, and less noises when drumming. Sounds fine when used cross stick on the snare. Perfect for rockband/gh drums.
Cons
I love the grip of these stick bu the coating wore off very quickly. Expected a lot more from a pair of vic firth.

If youre dropping your sticks these will help with that but try the promark active girps along side these and see which you like best
