Pros & Cons
Pros
These are my go to sticks but due to the pricing i had to look for an alternative. They are definitely lighter in weight than any of my other sticks but i like the nylon tips.
Vic firth 5a model is as close to perfect as it gets for all around drumming versatility. Easy to grip, good for any level of drumming experience, and are durable. These are very slim so they are easy to use for traditional grip aswell as match grip.
These are so lightweight and sturdy. They feel good in my hands and are a great weight. Perfect length and thickness. We have another pair that came with the bell kit, but they are much heavier.
Best quality for the price. Crisp, loud, clear. Nice wood tip sounds in my ride and bell. Best wood ever.
Cons
Broke 3 pairs in less than 2 weeks of modest drumming activity.
Not cool, but not worth the hassle of returning. They seem like a knock off to me. While the pitch difference usually doesn't make too much of a difference on drums, i'm still disappointed to get a poor match from a name i've trusted.

These drumsticks are the typical quality you would expect from vic firth excellent
I tend to only hit with the tip so if you strike with other areas of the stick these may not last long
You want to be sure you are learning with the best

Packaging/appearance
Perfect authentic product fast shipping and i appreciate they didnt use an enormous amount of unnecessary packaging
