Pros
Great compact brick that expands to a lot of soil-less medium. Solid brick so you can't chunk off bits to soak a small amount at the time.
Used this in numerous potted plants and has worked very well at keeping the soil from compacting. Makes a superb substrate when mixed with a great potting soil like happy frog. Peace lilys absorb the water immediately.

Hand axe or a hand * & cultivator tiller can double to * plant beds. Mix with shredded paper for the worms or mix it with your potting soil.
Coir is a great planting medium for your money. Comes with a nutrient booster pack.

This is a fairly large brick and i was dumb enough to drop it into a fairly large plastic trashcan and then spray it down with water

The problem is that as it expanded it his a wall in the expansion process literally the sides of the garbage can

I was expecting this to be compressed layers and break off in chunks like other coir bricks ive used but this is just one huge block

All you have to do is add water and wait as the coconut coir begins to fluff up

Because this is such a large block i used handheld garden rake to scrape off the softened outer edges as i continued added water

That way the water was able to reach the inner portion of the block sooner
