It probably wont protect from being dropped but will protect from scratches which this phone is prone to

Ive have the really cheap ones which either dont fit properly or dont stick to the edges and ive had relatively pricey ones that unstuck on the edges when in a case

This is hands down the best one ive ever used fits the screen just right so allows just enough gap on the screen so it doesnt get pushed off when the phones in a case but still covers the edges and screen if not in a case

Its also made of a soft flexible rubbery type material unlike these cheap plastic ones that have no give in them so unstick on the edges

It will peel up if you dont attach it after you attach the case to see where the borders are
