And it came to mid-calf. It's a comfortable, stretchy fabric. I love this style and the xs fits me perfectly.
It's not as thick as scuba, but not thin, cheap or see thru. It hangs well, slightly away from my legs when i am still. I even have a friend who is a seamstress and who remarked on how well made it is.
The front zipper allows you to have it all the way up for a buttoned up look, or pull it down a bit for a casual or different look. This fits me with a little room, but not baggy. I usually just wear a scarf to camouflage the looseness on top.
This dress is beautiful and was vibrant in photos. This is the first dress i have ever ordered off amazon. Planing to order this dress in more colors.
Cons
The zipper has a very strong metallic odor. Not a flattering look on me. Design in photo is great but actual dress feels/looks like an imitation.

If you are a true size you can just order small medium or large but if you know you have a bigger waistline order by your waist measurements give or take an inch or two

Initially i was going to return because as other reviews mentioned the pockets do stick out and detract from the silhouette

I dont think sizing up would fix this problem because the arm holes would then be too big although i think that the thinner you are the less noticeable the pockets will be because then the dress would hang better on you instead of hips or booty making the pockets gap

The dress is lightweight and not lined but this particular material is not see through so a slip is not necessary
