Pros & Cons

Pros

The smell is much more pleasant than a number of pet products which smell chemically. Smells like peppermint leaves, pleasant smell. The odor is a bit strong but not bad simply medicinal like eucalyptus type of scent.

Spring/summer is always a flea ridden season for us. Sometimes my cat needs help being her freshest. And the upside is that she adores all the combing.

I have three grandkitties and they can use a spruce up by washing with this shampoo and rinsing well, then drying well with a towel. Because cats like to lick, you want your cat to be as dry as possible.

Used on 2 pooches no issues. My dog is a flat coated retriever. Rinses right off leaving no residue and pets hair is so soft and smells good. Follow up with a vet recommended flea treatment.

Cons

Not very perfumy. No proof of any dead fleas. It just sort of stuns them, or maybe that's just them getting wet and becoming immobilized, idk. Clove oil is toxic to cats!

It contains less than 1% clove oil. This product is oily and does not lather-up at all. Soapy liquid (not this smelly stuff) suffocates the fleas and the stubborn ones can be removed by combing with a flea comb.
