It is well packed - sealed in styro foam. The frame and shade are both metal.

Putting it together was very easy and intuitive. Easy to assemble, about 5 to 10 minutes. Base is solid and heavy.

Really elevated an otherwise neglected corner of my living room. It really pulls our living room together. Fits great with my black decor items and really adds to the overall room.

Also workable, plus. Plus the step on and off button is handy. I was shook.

Cons

The lamp is bent. Perhaps on solid wood flooring it is more stable, but on carpet it is dangerous as it could easily tip over.

Marble base was chipped/discolored. I'm throwing mine out as it’s hazardous and shipping it back is impossible.
