Dont even bother with wire brush method if your threads have been exposed to the elements takes long and this product is just a few bucks

I ended up getting a t handle to use with this tap but in the end it was not necessary

Trying to install an aftermarket bumper kit on a 1993 toyota pickup i had to remove a tow hook with extremely siezed bolts and eventually had to resort to using a prybar downwards on the tow hook while turning because the bolt kept spinning in place inside the frame

Once i finally got the worst bolt out and freed the tow hook i knew that the threads in the frame would be completely ruined and destroyed
