I would not recommend this as a reading lamp

I purchased 2 heritage antique goldbronze lamps from a store about 45 miles north of me one for my wifes and my reading chair at 199 apiece

I want to mention up front i did not purchase my lamp from amazon so this review is strictly about the lamp
