Highlights
Quality
My second vera edge in 3 years and i still love this product
It does take some thought and there is a learning curve but if you don’t mind that then it is a great product
Vera does have cameras they say will work with the system though
If indeed the unit is affected by these in this case the system should be stable with the next firmware version launched
Competitiveness
Linked a schlage camelot smart lock and it was easy to set up and so far so good
No fees and unmatched zwave device support
One thing that does not work well or at all is the camera integration of reolink security cameras
My take on the alternativesafter using vera for a while i also purchased and played around with a smartthings hub for a few weeks
