The performance of this device is just on the edge of acceptable for viewing video enough that what app you choose can make a difference

Mx player pro for example is designed to squeeze every bit of performance out so it rarely skips in videos even reading off the card

Youtube can play up to 720p60 without issue but 1080p60 will often be jerky and bad

Downloading the same video with a third party utility it plays the 1080 version fine so this comes down to either the youtube app being too demanding or the wifi being too slow

Youtube isnt the only video app that gets bumpy over 720 at times so i believe the blame is shared between app and device here
