Pros

This subwoofer does exactly what i need it to without aggravating the neighbors too much. It delivers the low end sound very well - when needed * & without overkill either. We'll thoroughly enjoy it!

Home theater setup includes a denon avr-1910, ps3, 2 jbl studio monitor bookshelf speakers. Front speakers are a bose subwoofer, then to the dual cubes.

It fits anywhere and really does a phenomenal job. Just completed the home theater - a 20 x 16 finished attic. We out it into a condo and it sounds great to us.

Velodyne impact-10 powered subwoofer is awesome. Strong lfe output with a minimum of distortion. The dt sub is $400 or $500 and is well reviewed. They have their own dac and sub woofer output.

Black hawk down is amazing. It does an even nicer job with cranking out the special effects in movies.

Cons

These speakers have old i mean old pin pinch input instead of banana inputs. Just awful. These distortions were heard even at low playing levels. Not as much bang for my buck as expected.

The cost of the efi plug and quality wire to hookup to reciver was unexpectant as i would of thought this would come with the product

Even if that is true im certainly not going to pay 400600 for an incremental improvement in sound quality our loudness

Some 14 years ago i bought a velodyne va810x for something like 630 because it outperformed all the more expensive subwoofers

And i had previously owned a handmedown velodyne sub that was pretty darn great
