But if you mount it on a stand using a hotshoe adapter or on a tripod with ¼”20 stud as soon as you begin to pull the coiled part of the cord it will be difficult to stretch it as far as it should extend 3ft without tipping the stand – unless of course held in place by weights or an assistant

They have 6 foot and 30 foot in other brands but not pentax which would be great for off camera where wireless in unreliable
