Pros
These things are virtually bomb proof! Those are amazing. Very pleased with the product.
They wash well, and have been used daily and have lasted. They get washed in the machine at appropriate intervals (with non-bio laundry liquid), usually the carers change them with the sheets. Easy to wash and for a waterproof sheet it dries quickly.
Cons
After 8 months this is no longer waterproof. Crunchy and stiff material not soft and thick. Retains so much heat it is uncomfortable to use in warmer weather conditions.

I have not yet tried the quality of the waterproofing but time will tell
Its just something to be aware of if you are looking for a good quality mattress protector but dont specifically need it to be waterproof

They are very thin protectors more like fitted sheet thickness but they do not let any liquids trough at all

I hate the classic thick protectors as they swish when you sleep on them which drives me mad

The water resistant layer does crack over time after several washes but because of the price they can be easily replaced

Eventually they get holes in them or we discover after a spillage that they are no longer waterproof

The one that leaked recently looked perfectly normal but allowed fluid to pass through something they dont do when new

However what i wasnt aware of was that the waterproof element means that the protector is made from rubber on the under side which makes me prone to sweating in summer because of the heat that it generates
