Because i have 3 kids that manage to get into things high up i would like it if it had a cap for both ends since the blades cannot be removed

It seemed like it was not slicing the zucchini into separate strands but afterwards when i picked them up they were separate

We have been looking for a vegetable shredder that is more compact than our table top however we have realized if we want to use eggplant red potatoes or other rounded vegetables and apples the cone shaped area for shredding them does not work
