Amazon needs to remove the waterproof claim from the part description. Wiring diagram is *, blew several fuses and gave up on the 3/5 switch install. Do not buy.

The negative lead goes to the leg opposite the little led light the tall center peg goes to the positive load motor or whatever you are switching and the peg under the little led light is where the positive battery lead goes

Any other wiring will result in a short and possibly a fire

Do not put the battery lead on the tall peg

When the switch is turned off it connects the tall center peg and the peg where the negative lead goes and creates a short

You cant parallel this switch with any other switch for a particular load or youll blow the supply fuse ask me how i know
