Pros

Solid, reassuring snap when inserting into cover plates. All eight conductor paths have continuity. Takes a bit of force to snap in but it is not coming off unless the little clip or wall plate breaks.

Strong and stable. They're a commodity item, and they work. No problems whatsoever. None came damaged.

Used for poe camera system to connect between wall and nvr. All the couplers were tested on a basic rj45 lan cable tester. No problem using it with my cat 6 patch cords.

Cons

The clip on the bottom is so strong that it either will not go in straight into the plate's slot or it breaks off the tang in the wall plate. These are so bad that i've had to cut some cables to redo the connectors. It's a tiny bit too fat and the cli... Read More

Im using these with monoprice wall plates

Fit the leviton face plate perfectly and a speedtest performed as it should

Then i could simply insert a shorter cat6 cable in the other wall end and voila job done
