They're a bit fiddly, but i put one on a cable i'd shortened. The crimping of cat 7 is much tougher as the cables are much more shielded. Good sturdy connector.

For the purpose of making cat7 cables they are the correct connector and work for that purpose but the metal collar that folds around the cable is flimsy and poor at holding the cable considering the thickness of cat7

The connector in itself is good i had no issues with making the cables due to the connector but did suffer some issues with my technique so the connector is recommended if you plan on making your own cat7 cables

The tubes feeding the connectors are off set vertically to allow for the thicker strands of good cat6e and above cables

Unfortunately i had bought cheap cat6 cable and the stands were too thin to locate properly and in the end i used standard plugs

The other good news was my cheap cat6 still gives me 1gb round the house
