I'm not sure if the zipper thing is just a defect for my bag. Also the small leather tags hanging from the zippers detach easily and often. Overall, not a great experience.

The exterior is is 80 in good shape a couple frayed bits a small hole forming at the bottom and the adjustable parts of the straps are tearing but the interior pockets are now ripped away from the lining and i’m having to constantly fish items from “newly formed pockets” and the zippers are broke

I guess its nice that it has a rain flap but honestly in all the years i used my prior backpack that did not have a rain cover over the zipper i wasnt int he rain that much and never had a problem with the inside of the pack getting wet through the zipper

The rain flap makes it harder to open and close the zipper
