This tool solves some of the problems of other ultralight tools. It is pretty darned sturdy and does not bend and flex like many others. Nice lightweight design.

The best feature of this shovel is that it is lightweight.

Good compact size for backpacking. Great addition to my backpacking setup. It does cradle small rolls of paracord (50-75ft) a quick diy solution is to keep the odd-sized plastic baggie it ships in and duct-tape the edges.
