The pan head is a bit difficult to use

The legs open well these are extended by twisting to loosen and retighten

I like the pan head it seems to operate smoothly at least enough for still photography

First of all the knob that releases the quick shoe which attaches to your camera is a little short and fat which makes it difficult to loosen it which releases the camera form the tripod

This will make it hard to quickly get the camera off the tripod if i am out shooting wildlife and suddenly need to hand hold the camera

The second issue is that the actual quick shoe has two rubber pieces that help cushion it when attaching to the camera and after only playing around with it a couple times one of the rubber pieces already fell off
