You should already be wearing earplugs to protect your hearing anyway but may need to buy higher nrr earplugs with these sliponstwo things to note though1 you will need to buy or try reuse your exhaust gaskets from the exhaust to muffler as this does not come with that2 you will need to double check the mufflers for fit as the muffler packaged with the heat shield that has the logo supposed to be on the rear of the bike was meant for the front of the bike as the holes did not line up with the bracket

Fyi this does fit a 2017 harley 883 sportster even though amazon is telling me it does not

Reasonably loud even with the baffles that are installed

It took me about 45 mins to install and that’s with removing the stock exhaust

It is not obnoxiously loud but you are still heard in traffic
