Pros & Cons
Pros
The product is good and performs as it should. It's a little light but works just fine. It feels exquisite. The balance is fantastic.
Pentel makes best mechanical pencil but are getting harder to find. These pencils function well and are durable. Good value drafting pencil due to the ability to view your work while using.
These are my favorite pencils.
Cons
The only thing automatic about them is quick failure. Still, cheapish.
Highlights
Quality
Quality made and great feel in hand
These pencils function well and are durable
Each pencil feels like an extension of your hand
The color of the pencil body used to reflect the lead diameter i can see they threw that standard out
Price
This is very inexpensive package that makes me very happy
A good value drafting pencil due to the ability to view your work while using
I wish they were just a little less expensive
Costs a little more but they are worth it
Packaging/appearance
It came in a thin plastic envelope i thought i have to return it something may be broken inside
I only wish the green and maroon pens can be ordered in a pack by themselves instead of individually or in a variety pack
Competitiveness
I compared these to the one i own from the 80s and they are exact
Pentel makes some of the best stuff on the market
Others have copied their designs with great success but i still go back to pentel
I have a p205 that is 35 years old i compared them to and could find no variation
