Realizing that i may as well open the mistake i did uncurled it and realized that it was indeed 1 foot long

Unfortunately the av cable i purchased for this purpose has a stereo audio section which is a bit short to reach without really stretching the cable from the lefthandtop corner where the video port is to the lower righthand corner where the headphonelineout port is

I also wanted the cable to run backwards from the pc rather than off to the side so the rightangle element was a definite want item

Now ive read two very very negative reviews of this cable and i have to admit im sort of stunned by both of them
