I specifically sought out a metal mesh band because the rubber ones trap moisture from hand washing sweating etc and was giving me blisters even from sporadic wear while the leather bands absorb moisture and quite frankly start to stink no fun when youre wearing a thirdhand band

The magnet is strong and as some others have mentioned it does attract a few things unintentionally
