Just a note i should point out that 1 no amps were involved in my listening and 2 i am slightly deaf towards the low frequency sounds likely from years of exposure to loud music and what not

However the edges of the top band is now fraying

Edit 2 a few months later the headband and ear pads are now seriously deteriorating flakes of material are falling off constantly

The faux leather is all but gone now on the headband the ear pads completely destroyed
