The white light almost has a moonlike glow to it while the uv light has sort of a ghostly effect

The uv light does not seem bright but it is human eyes arent exactly calibrated to that range of light

I have not run the first set of batteries down yet and the brightness does not appear to have changed at all after approximately 3hrs of use

The four star rating is for 2 issues the lanyard is flimsy and cant be adjusted to prevent it from falling off your wrist and the clip is made of very thin very bendable metal that does not hold the light in place due to its lack of tension

One came in and the blacklight function would not work but they had a replacement out to us in like 2 days

The blacklight is really really weak you have to be really close to the item you are shining on
