Maybe their weight is a result of them being made of toughened glass

Doesnt have nucleation points the raised bits to create head on beer at the bottom of the glass but thats not what i was after and by far the cheapest

Looking at the other reviews it seems to be a common problem i received my glasses today and one of the glasses was completely shattered into tiny pieces

These are really good glasses a clean design a decent weight which presumably makes them robust and so far not even a hint of wear after several goes through the dishwasher
