It charges via micro usb blegh but can work around it and didnt take too awful long to charge

The battery does not weight that much and is not noticeable when you are wearing the heating pad

It is important to note that the heating elements is only on the center of the heating pad so only the back of your neck will be warmed

Instead there is a small insertpocket for you to keep the heating pad secured on your neck and from falling off
