Pros & Cons

Pros

It soothes sore muscles, heats up quickly. Helps with knee pain due to meniscus tear.

Have emailed with utk before and always get a quick response. The company is responsive to customer needs. It works, it works beautifully.

I love that you don't have to have it super hot for the infrared benefits. This versatile brace gets as hot as i would want it to (wouldn't want it any hotter). Gets very warm.

The pad fits very well and is comfortable. The timer and heat settings are very valuable. It is comfortable and fits well with long straps. Only con is it has to be plugged in.

For months following a partial menisectomy i had knee discomfort and nothing i did seemed to cure that

Since traditional heating pads mostly heat the skin externally they dont work as well as this farir pad which penetrates more deeply

My first heating pad stopped working after six months of use

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It would be nice if it came with a washable sleeve or cloth to put between the pad and the skin

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It would be nice if the pad or jade stones could be oriented vertically if the user wishes

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Currently the stones run in two rows one above the kneecap and one below when the pad is attached see the product picture but it might be more effective for medial meniscus tears if the stones were oriented vertically meaning that they run up and down the side of the knee rather than at the top and bottom

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Its possible to orient the pad that way but the velcro straps dont fasten properly in the vertical updown position they are designed to only fasten horizontally around the knee

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It gets very hot so be careful
