Pros & Cons

Pros

Seems sturdy. They're sturdy, reliable, hold zero.

These are my go to buis for any of my railed rifles in the ar platform. They lie flat and don't scrub your scope if your running an lpvo. Using as a backup for an optic.

Definitely a viable alternative to $150 buiss. Just equipped these. Other than that minor nit to pick, these are an incredible value.

The utg front sight post is also an a2 style but operated without a hitch. Easy to install, feels solid. Both front and rear.

Cons

Utg needs to do some qc and recalibrate their cnc equipment. Would love someone from utg to reach out about a refund. The finish is a satin black anodizing that will not match the finish of your rifle.

The front sight does not fit a picatinny rail. The little plunger that keeps it in the up position is skinny and easily bendable. The folding mechanism seems very weak. I had to drill out the head and break the screw with a punch.

Quality

I love these sights they are made of aluminum they look good easy to adjust and install

Good quality sights well made and doesnt feel cheap

Held up strongly after numerous round and dead on target each time

Backup sights not primary sights if you arent running glass optics id get more traditional real a2 or similar with better bz zero settings

Competitiveness

The utg front and rear flip up metal sights installed without a hitch like their much more expensive cousins

Even if the prices were the same i would choose these over magpul mbus

Both troys and magpuls flip up metal sights are slmost 3 times the cost of utgs

Nothing feels flimsy the anodizing is flawless and they are much less bulky than some of the more expensive brands
