I looked at all the pictures and it was clear to me that it was a boxlike dispenser with a lid

You want them to lay flat so it will work as a dispenser but the size makes it hard to get your hand in there to make qtips behave as they mostly want to stick to each other and go any direction but the one you want

It might work better with the wooden which are more expensive or plastic stick type which arent environmentally friendly

Trying to fill it with qtip brand has not worked so well because they are longer

Clear command strips were my answer to this problem of it sliding when fishing out whatever youll put into it
