Highlights
Quality
I pressed about 10 gallons of apple cider this year with the help of this crusher
Would be nice if they were included with the order or as an option
We tried the victorio food strainer which works but even with the correct auger plugs up constantly
Price
A finer grind would be really nice and probably improve yield efficiency but at this price i have no complaints
Shipping
I found if you run them through twice it helps goes very fast and easy the second time
Packaging/appearance
This way it took me less time and effort to go through the 150lbs than what it took me to go through the 60lbs
It took me hours to go through the 60lbs and i was so tired by the time i was done
Competitiveness
Then attached my heavyduty angle drill to the shaft in place of the crank

Had to wait for the apples to ripen

I expect durability will be an issue but you could buy two of these for what others cost and it should be trivial to replace parts

Used it twice so far to crush apples first time i did 60lbs the second around 150lbs

The second batch i did 150lbs but i made two major improvements first i cut the apples into quarters second i drilled four holes in the two bars and mounted it to another metallic holder that kept it from moving

The product is getting four stars for two reasons1 the metallic teeth that crush the apples tend to wiggle around around 14 this cause them to collide and microscopic pieces of metal might end up in your juice

However unless you have someone holding it it will still break loose from the motion of the crank
